Evolving a city-developed parking and access register into a scalable multi-tenant cloud platform.

The case study focused on migrating a city-developed parking and access register to a Flemish multi-tenant cloud platform. The assignment involved analyzing and evaluating the existing architecture, defining a strategy to evolve towards a secure and scalable multi-tenant solution, and designing both target and transitional architectures to support controlled project change and migration.

Building open, event-driven geographic linked data registries for the Flemish Government.

Development of the geographical registries (Basisregisters) containing linked open data for the Flemish Government. Responsibilities included: designing and implementing services and libraries within an event driven architecture; coaching; organizing scrum events.

As solution engineer I performed functional and technical analysis with customers, designing integrations with existing IT landscapes, and translating business needs into sustainable solutions.

Turning real-time hardware events into a scalable warehouse platform.

Development of "The Warehouse of the Future", an innovative warehouse management system steered by real-time RFID and hardware-triggered events. I worked closely with the software architect and business analyst, bridging business analysis and technical design, and incorporating customer feedback into the implementation.

Digitizing customer and operational processes in a large-scale parking organization.

As an in-house software engineer at Park Indigo (formerly VINCI Park), I worked on the digitalization of customer-facing services and internal processes such as resident card renewals, subscription management and invoice automation. My role combined functional analysis, development and end-user training ensuring smooth adoption across the organization.
